President and CEO Summary The Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager is responsible for designing and creating graphics and visual communication for internal and external collateral, documents and websites including but not limited to marketing brochures, presentations, advertisements, print media, online media, web pages, and other marketing collateral.
This includes meeting with the appropriate people to determine the purpose, message and vision of the work; designing previews; review of previews with the appropriate individuals; and finalizing the finished product.
This position is also responsible for managing and monitoring social media sites and content.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Graphic Design Work closely with marketing, sales, product development and business leaders to provide support for creation of visual imagery for multiple document and website needs.
Assist in the creation and preparation of client presentations, proposals, advertising, promotional materials, user interfaces, and other marketing related information.
Layout and design of all internal and external communication and collateral documents.
Create look and feel of public and private facing web pages, major and minor web applications and web components.
Develop graphic design that effectively communicates the ideas being promoted by the collateral pieces.
Using storyboarding and graphic pre-designs when appropriate.
Brainstorming and mocking up design ideas and presenting ideas to internal staff and management as well as external clients.
Meeting with the appropriate individuals to adjust designs to fit the needs of the collateral pieces.
Using the appropriate computer software to executive designs.
Develop design in a clean, well-structured, and easily maintainable format.
Define collateral and layout standards ensuring consistency.
Define web standards and style guide ensuring compatibility with the latest version of key browsers.
All other duties assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Social Media Manage and maintain social media sites including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
Facilitate the creation of blog schedule along with implementation and maintenance of the blog.
Posting and publishing of approved content to social media sites.
Analysis of social media marketing campaigns.
Identification of opportunities and threats in user generated content and effectively communicate those to the leadership team.
Promote and manage user communities and forums.
Search engine optimization including basic keyword research.
Build and maintain our content distribution network by way of social media channels.
Participation in conversations that surround our content and brand through social media channels.
Conduct keyword research including cataloging and indexing target keyword phrases.
Qualifications Proficient with Adobe applications including Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design, Dream Weaver, Flash, Acrobat, Fireworks and Media Encoder.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
Proficient with social media sites including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
Operate effectively as a member of the marketing team.
Meet expectations and deliverables on time and in high quality.
Creative, technical and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work individually or in a team environment.
Outstanding organization skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Experience, Education and Licensure Graphic Design Degree or 5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
